Careys Civil Engineering has been awarded an enabling package of works to help transform the former coal-fired Lostock power station in Northwich, Cheshire into an energy-efficient, eco-friendly energy from waste (EfW) facility.

Careys, as principal contractor on the Ford Dagenham demolition & remediation project, commissioned the manufacture of a bespoke aggregate and soil engineering plant.

Over the past seven days, employees from across our site and office teams embraced Volunteers' Week by devoting their time and effort towards a range of different charitable causes.

The 30-acre, £1.5bn Elephant and Castle Regeneration in south London represents one of Europe’s largest city centre construction schemes. Once completed, it will offer 3,000 new homes, more than 50 new shops, several restaurants, a new park and significant infrastructure improvements.
