BDL, part of the Carey Group and sister company to Careys, has secured a new contract with Bellway Homes in Surrey at new development, Buckthorn Grange.

Careys has been awarded an exciting package of works at the new Slough Multifuel project working with energy-from-waste specialist Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI).

Highlighting the wide range of careers within construction to early talent and sharing our care and passion for our industry with the next generation has never been more important.

Over the past 10 months Careys has been working on developing a groundworker apprenticeship with Milton Keynes College which has now been approved and will go live in September.

​We are extremely proud that Careys has been listed as the UK’s number one specialist concrete contractor for the fifth consecutive year in the 2020 Construction News Specialists Index.

As the Carey Group enters its sixth decade, I am delighted to announce that as part of our ongoing strategy to strengthen our Board of Directors, we have made a number of key appointments to ensure the continued success of the Group for the years ahead.

Careys has been awarded a package of works at Springside in Edinburgh, the residential development comprised of studio apartments, one to three-bedroom apartments and town houses on behalf of principal contractor, Robertson.

Careys Foundation demonstrated our continued commitment to supporting charitable causes, last month, when we announced our five charity partnerships for 2020 and 2021.

At Careys, we strive to ensure that our team members learn the required skills to be able to effectively carry out their responsibilities – all whilst keeping their ongoing development in mind.

This month, Careys was awarded Galliford Try’s Subcontractor of the Year Award for Health and Safety performance on their 100 Avebury Boulevard project – a 140,000ft2 commercial building development in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
