Milton Keynes College is one of the largest employers in the local area with over 1,400 staff, as well as being the largest education provider in the area with over 6,000 students attending to study hundreds of different courses and subjects.
For more than a decade, the college has hosted its annual prestigious awards ceremony “Students of the Year”, which recognises and celebrates the diverse areas of achievement of its students. It also provides an exciting opportunity to bring together students, staff, senior representatives from local employers and key members of the community to join in the celebration.
With 20 awards up for grabs across a wide range of categories from business to science, Jamie Donohue, Careys Talent and Apprenticeship Coordinator, presented the ‘Construction Award’ to winner Reece Georgiou.
The awards ceremony culminated in one student being awarded the coveted title of ‘Milton Keynes College Student of the Year 2022’, selected by an awards selection panel from all of the award winners. The proud recipient of this award was Lucy Sharples, who received the award from Tom Wraight, Careys Regional Director – Midlands.
