Brad Barham

Regional Director - London and South East

The most important thing I can do as a leader in the business is to provide a safe environment for the next generation of construction professionals to learn, build their confidence and progress. We all make mistakes but if we are part of a team who want to learn and get better then we will always be improving.

I joined Careys in 2006 as a Site Manager at the Colchester Garrison project. Prior to starting I had spent eight years at Laing O’Rourke after completing my degree at Loughborough University.

Over my time at Careys I have worked on a number of key infrastructure projects including the North West Cambridge development, and basement projects including the British Museum and Merchant Square in Paddington.

In 2008 I was also lucky enough to be a part of the team working in Stratford ahead of the 2012 London Olympics. The main scheme of work was at the Athlete’s Village, with further projects undertaken by Careys at the Olympic Stadium and across the Olympic Park.

In 2018 I was promoted to Head of Delivery and since then projects I have been lucky enough to support our operational teams on have included the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and multiple projects for the AELTC at Wimbledon.
